Chapter 17 Gaining favor

Upon seeing Rex's parents, both Margaret and Amber felt relieved. They now had the ability to calm down Liz and Iris while staying at Rex's house.

For the simple reason being they promised not to hurt anyone close to Rex. If anyone tried to harm Rex or the people closest to him. Well, their deaths were up to the two girls.

Knowing that Rex and the rest of the girls were shopping. Margaret and Amber both told them they were heading to the grocery store. Rex's parents decided to come along.

Margaret and Amber both smiled. They knew once Rex's parents saw how destructive the three girls were. They would instantly force Rex to marry all three of them.

What they did not know was that Rex already had a plan for when Margaret and Amber did not show up again. He was currently using it to the fullest.

While Margaret, Amber, and Rex's parents were heading to the grocery store. They passed by the gym and several men were talking about Rex. Margaret and Amber both heard the conversation clearly. Rex's parents both heard a few words and figured it was because of their son. That was where he usually would go to workout.

Though his workouts were not very good. It was the basics of getting it down and keeping him from danger. Rex's parents knew that Rex had been deadly cursed. What they did not know was that the talismans that Demon, Maximum, and Life giver all sent went directly to Rex's mother's womb. This makes Rex the living embodiment of greed. While he did want a lot growing up. He never could get out of certain situations and that mostly being the girls chasing him.

That greedy nature did want the girls but Rex himself did not. With the conflict between the two usually going on. Rex was always in trouble for some reason with the girls.

Stopping in front of the men. Margaret and Amber both looked at them. They were unafraid of what would happen. To them talking the way they would, it could cause national disasters.

"Hear us, the boy you were talking about just now. Do not ever talk about him again. If you do, destruction will come and we cannot stop it." Amber spoke directly not even caring how the men would react.

The men looked at Amber and could not tell if she was joking or trying to be serious. They knew that Rex should become a body builder. What they did not know was the girls who entered in with him.

Not even caring about the girls that entered in with him. The guys started to discuss how to get him fully on board to become a full time body builder.

Rex's parents were not too keen on their son being forced to do anything. Even though they forced a little stuff on him to help him grow up. They never forced him to do more than what could be done at that moment in time. Seeing how those men were not stopping. Rex's father decided to pitch in.

"My son will not become a body builder. If he had already said no. Then you should not even be talking about it. If he wanted to think about it, then the answer is no."

The men hearing Rex's father wanted nothing more than to slam him down and get a taste of him. Seeing how the woman was behind him. They figured she was the reason why he stepped forward.

"So your husband is the one you let you speak your mind. Well, what would happen if we hit him?" One of the men said.

Margaret stepped forward and said, "That is Rex's father. The man you think is Rex's mother. If you dared to hit her, he would be the one to come in and completely annihilate that gym."

Seeing who they thought was Rex's mother gained an angry aura. They knew they had screwed up.

They then dispersed and Margaret had gained a huge favor with Rex's mother. Rex's mother looked at her angry husband and felt jealous. She always wished to be short like her mother and marry a tall, handsome man. She married her childhood friend and loves how angry he gets when people talk bad about her.

"We need another baby or grandbaby." Rex's mother thought.

The group headed towards the grocery store again. When they finally approached the Wmart. Rex, Liz, Iris, and Violet all had a bag in hand. Seeing how their Masters were carrying bags. Margaret and Amber both grabbed two bags a piece. They knew that they should have gotten there sooner but the meeting with the Sect Masters and meeting Rex's parents hindered them a while.

"Son." Rex's mother darted across and hugged her son.

Rex felt happy that his mother came. She had been overseas for several weeks now. Seeing the joy she has, he too felt it as well.

Once she let go and Rex saw his father. He quickly brought himself in the middle of them two. While they decided to walk home.

Knowing that Iris and Liz both want Rex. Rex's parents decided that they would ask them who loves him more when they arrive at home.

The trip home was a lot smoother simply for the fact that Margaret, Amber, and Rex's parents put fear into the men from earlier.

They soon arrived at the two story house and entered. Seeing how clean the first room was. Rex's parents actually asked who kept the house clean. Margaret and Amber both raised their hands.

Seeing that Margaret and Amber kept up with cleaning the house. They decided to include them on this marriage deal.

"Can we cook some lunch now?" Liz asked.

Iris looked over to her and wanted to help. She knew that anything she did would not help at all. She kindly nodded her head away and sat down on the couch.

Rex's parents watch the interaction between the two. Rex's mother thought that Iris would be a nice cool addition to the family. Although she wanted her son to only marry one person. She knew that it was too much to single any one out.

She not only cared for them like her own daughters but they always acted like they were her children. With that, she wanted the girls to be happy because Rex would undoubtedly be the one to keep them under control. With him at the wheel, they would keep everything bad away from Rex.

Rex's parents saw how Violet was almost talking to the vegetables that were gotten. They knew she would always talk to them but never knew why. So they went over and talked to her about it.

Violet explained that she could hear how well plants were treated and raised. Knowing that it was part of her 'power' Rex's parents did not need to know much more.

Iris had enough of Rex's parents trying to decide on something. So she immediately decided to put action into her words.

"Would you two like to join us in the new VR MMORPG game?"

Hearing what Iris said, Rex's parents joined the game also. Iris went upstairs and brought down two more boxes.

When Rex's parents opened the boxes they each had their own colored headset with the famous logo on top of it.
