Chapter 37 The reasoning for SSS pt 2

The mother and son found a wide spot in the cave. It really was not much wider but the other side got back to normal. So they decided to look at the time.

"3:49 pm"

The mother was shocked because she could not leave and get back on at this spot.

"I will take care of this for you. Just go on ahead and log off." Rex had a disappointment on his face.

Seeing the disappointment, mother had just the thing to cheer up Rex.

"Do not worry Son, I will fix your favorite for supper tonight." Rex's mother's face shined.

Rex smiled and hugged his mother.

She logged off. He found her item that would respawn her at the very spot.

"At least we can do stuff like this. I truly hope it continues to be like this."

Nevertheless, Rex got his courage up from being able to carry his mother. He then continued to march down the cave.

With another hour and a half of nothing happening. Rex felt something was extremely off here.

He knew caves would have more frightening things the higher you climb. Even this was not normal. Even a regular cub should have appeared by now.

With a wider spot than the first one appearing, Rex felt something tingling.

He did not know what it was. He was willing to take it to the limit and pass through.

When he entered the wide spot, he saw a demon standing before him. That was not giving Rex the tingling feeling.

So he began to look around. It was indeed a much wider spot. The area looked like it could hold a major city and still have room to grow.

"Welcome traveler. Since you can feel me, that makes things easier. However for beginners, let me welcome my daughter and future princess."

Rex turned around and saw the yellow striped wooded spider at the entrance. Even though the tingling feeling was not coming from it. Rex had a bad premonition about it.

The yellow striped wooded spider finally entered the wide spot. With torches everywhere, the spider thought it would die a burning death.

Since she had decided to enter, she would have been burned or felt weird. Monsters could not enter the places with torches since those were considered safe spots inside the game.

Very few monsters could override their fear and get them to enter the lit places. Everyone of these monsters were considered the Major Elite of the Monsters. Even the strongest of the dragons would not dare try to trample on their territory.

"My daughter, I sense great hate coming from the young boy. Explain to me what happened."

The yellow striped wooded spider seemed to move its legs causing a chatter noise. This actually surprised Rex and the demon.

They had the first hand knowledge of a female spider talking and it was this chatter. Minds were going to be blown with this knowledge.

"I see dear. It is terrible that your web got destroyed. However this cave does not have another entrance. It was unlucky that you chose to put your web there. I shall give you a chance. Use everything at your disposal to get yourself to me. I shall grant you a great feast."

The spider first tried to climb the walls. That failed not from the lack of trying either. Secondly, the spider tried to use webbing to get higher but it failed even more so than climbing.

Finally the spider looked at Rex and then the demon. She knew that Rex had great strength simply from the flick to her web.

She finally walked over to Rex. Rex knew that something was watching this young spider. He decided to help it.

The spider climbed up and got on Rex's head. Like something struck him, he found the spot where the monster was.

His danger sense went so far to completely knock him out. Once he did foam came out from his mouth and he let out everything from inside his body. Even before the Goddess gave him resistance, he would not have ever let his piss or crap out.

Even the demon could not help but hold his nose from the stench. The female spider did not realize that she had granted him the ability to notice her leader.

The leader was afraid that it had released its aura and made the young boy faint. When the leader checked, it found that there was no aura that left its body.

"Must have to do with the way my daughter showed myself to him." The leader spoke.

Even though only the female spider heard the leader. It still felt bad for trusting an enemy.

"Do not worry child. For he shall wake up when I reveal my true self."

Suddenly at the top of the cave, a solemn face with a crown on top appeared. A yellow striped wooded spider came out from the midst of it.

The demon immediately fell to its knees. He heard horror stories about this creature of legend. The Queen Yellow Striped Spider.

"Are you truly a Queen Yellow Striped Spider?" The demon immediately asked.

"Demons fear me." The face on the wall seemed to give an evil smile while talking.

Rex woke up seeing the spider. He had never seen nor heard of a spider that he was seeing. One thing he was completely sure of, it was not going to be good to get on its bad side.

Then he heard a ding.

Seeing the two quests Rex felt that everything was up to him to salvage. He did not know what he would have to do. The best thing he could honestly think of was trying to get on the Queen Spider's good side.

"Can I know who you are? I am Rex, blessed by the goddesses."

The Queen Spider had not heard of the goddesses giving blessings. This made her more interested in Rex.

"Of course. I am the Second Generation Queen Yellow Striped Spider. I am glad that someone like you is here Rex."
