Chapter 52 Advancement in Realms pt 2

I remember climbing these stairs. Some call them the Stairway of Shame, some call them the Stairway of Death, and the others call them the Stairway of Money.

The reasoning is because people would climb and never be able to ascend properly. No matter how many times he or she climbed. The shame they felt each time would increase.

While climbing people would face great beasts. No one understands why the beasts attack. When family and friends never ascend and they ask why. "A beast appeared and your family member or close friend died from not being strong enough." Was all that was told. Those people only thought of the Stairway as Death.

People heard about how much money they would have to spend in order to see the realms. The money would be too much for them. If a billionaire could see one realm. It would take twenty or more to see two of them. Since few people have that kind of money. Most people called this the Stairway of Money.

My parents kept a tight grip on my shirt while we ascended. I wrapped my arms around them. I wanted this to be the most fun in playing a game.

We stopped and looked around. We hurried up the stairs.

"Money, give me Money"

Hearing that we looked around. Seeing nothing again. We continued on.

"Please allow me to advance." A woman's voice screamed.

"Those who cannot pass, shall not pass. Leave." man's voice was heard.

We kept going. My parents wanted to turn back.

"We cannot back down now. We are almost there, I believe."

My parents looked at me. They nodded in agreement and we pushed forward.

"Halt"

We could not move our bodies.

"This is Heavenly Qi." The Spider Queen spoke.

"Heavenly Qi?" I responded.

I could not feel anything. It was like the entire place just stopped.

"Yes. Heavenly Qi can do this in the Fifth Heavenly Realm. It does take years to get it to advance like this. I would not be surprised if the guardian is a Heavenly failure into the Godly Realm." The Spider Queen helped me regain my control.

"Fujiwara Family. You have the right to challenge the Stairway. However, you young man need to speak to me."

I disappeared and my parents were left there alone.

"This is different."

I saw what appeared to be a Godly Realm. It had all purely white tiles and streaks of Qi that I barely could recognize.

"I am pleased to see that those girls have finally blessed the same person."

I could tell that this voice was the one that I had always heard.

"They did. I am here to do a Family Advancement with my parents."

I did not sound angry or upset. I just stated what I wanted to do.

"Those who have been blessed by the Goddesses cannot advance through the stairway. They just enter the next realm. Why do you want to advance with your blessings?"

"I care about my parents and want them to be able to advance with me. The company they work for wants a main building. They are heading up to get the building either bought or built. I would rather use my blessings on them than myself."

The silence was terrible.

"I see. You had already been here young one. I saw your memories. What happened to your emotions was bad. I cannot change them for you. You have to reawaken your feelings for those girls."

I closed my eyes and thought about what he had said. Remembering that the girls honestly had given me whatever I wanted and asked for nothing in return.

I slowly began to remember how much I cared for them. It was a painful process but now I feel like something has been unlocked.

"Ding"

I looked around because I did not know who or what made that Ding.

"It has been a little bit, Rex." Mera's voice entered the room.

"What is going on?" I asked.

"The person who was in charge of the Stairway was the first person to enter the Godly Realm. His Soul manifested into becoming the guardian." Mira's voice entered.

"I see."

They looked at the entry way and saw my parents.

"You are here with your parents. Are you trying to do a Family Advancement?" Mira asked.

"I want to do Family Advancement with my parents all through the realms. My parents have to get to the Ninth Realm and either buy or build a main building for the company they work for."

"We shall bless them with a two way token, if you pass. That token will allow them to enter and leave each realm above the Second Realm." Mera said.

"Thank you."

I could then feel more eyes on me than normal. It was an extremely weird feeling that I will never get rid of.

"You have enough Heavenly and Godly Qi to unlock special requests now. Congratulations! Make sure you find a Soul Mate and/or Soul Tame in the Second Realm. They will become the source of power for you in the later realms. Congratulations! For getting the only Heavenly Realm Beast in the Mortal Realms. She will become your greatest threat and friend at the same time. Congratulations! You have been blessed by the Dragons with your Baby Wyvern. She will grow up and become the greatest Dragon. If she believes in you and stays as your Soul Partner or leaves and becomes your greatest enemy. That is all on you." The goddesses spoke.

"Soul Partners can be cut off?" I asked.

"Soul Mate and Tame can only be one but they will always travel with you. Soul Partners can leave or be forgotten through the realms by the individual." The man's voice was heard.

"Sorry I did not want those beans to be spilled. I do not want to leave you. I know you are currently weakened and being in the Mortal Realms does not help. Baby Wyvern accepted you before me and is still sleeping peacefully. I doubt that she will leave when she feels so relaxed. If you dare to tarnish her feelings. She will without a doubt leave you and search for that feeling again. She will not and then be forced to re-enter your Soul and cannot." The Spider Queen told me.

"Spider Queen, promise me to help me keep you and her safe and in good condition. I want to travel with both of you and do not want to hurt either one of your feelings." I pleaded.

"I will help you to the best of my abilities. I will also talk to Baby Wyvern when she wakes up." The Spider Queen replied.

I felt something hit me like a truck. It was extremely unpleasant but it also felt like something had been awakened.

I did not get any Ding that really hurt. I opened the menu and saw nothing. Finally, I saw my Demonic Qi rising.

"Why now?"
